Check out some of the writings by Amar Bhide, a much more informed and thoroughly researched professor. His studies based on Inc. Magazine's 500 fastest growing companies indicate that the most common shared attributes of successful entrepreneurs are deep industry experience and incremental change. While there are examples of big ideas coming from left field, these are the exception. Bottomline, iterating on bad ideas will likely not increase your chances of success no matter how many times you do it. I would be interested to see Low's findings viewed through Bhide's lens.
